LA-CO 그룹은?
1934년 회사 건립과 함께 개발된 ‘Stick-O-Paint’은 라코 그룹의 첫 번째 작품으로 페인트를 스틱 형태로 포장하는 혁신을 통해 산업용 마킹분야를 만들어 냈다. 이는 마칼의 전설적인 브랜드 Paintstik®으로 진화했으며, 1945년엔 ALL-WEATHER®의 Paintstik®을 런칭해 산업용 마커제품을 농축산 시장으로 확대했다. 이와 함께 1940년대에는 ‘PipeTite® thread compound’를 런칭함으로써 배관시장으로 사업영역을 넓혔다. 지속적인 제품 개발이 이뤄짐으로써 많은 전문가들은 작업을 보다 빠르고 안전하게 진행하기 위해 라코 브랜드 제품을 선호하게 된다. 1987년엔 액상 페인트 마커인 Markal®의 Valve Action® Paint Marker를 처음 선보이는데, 이는 라코 그룹의 1위 제품이 됐다. 2009년에는 프랑스 Intrama S.A.S.(현재 LA-CO 유럽법인)를 인수함으로써 유럽 고객 서비스를 새롭게 정비했으며, 2017년에는 JP Nissen을 인수했다.
